Generic Payment Application (GPA) reduces costs, enhances quality

In order to be able to provide payment solutions for an increasing number of countries and acquirers, Sagem Denmark has developed a Generic Payment Application (GPA). The GPA provides a framework that can be adapted by Sagem Denmark to fit different requirements.

The application contains adaptation layers that allow implementation of different cards and host protocols. The GPA also contains an EMV Level 2 approved core for chip card handling.

Reduce costs, enhance quality

The concept of the Generic Payment Application reduces the cost and enhances the quality of the SW product, due to the reuse of proven and tested SW components. The integrator also gets the benefit of integration reuse if the Sagem Payment Application is used in different countries.
