BBS Denmark´s chip card terminals pass EMV Level 1 testing

EMV Level 1 approval is related to chip cards (EMV cards). All chip card reading terminals must pass the EMV Level 1 test before use with EMV cards.

The test verifies that the terminal does not damage the EMV cards. The EMV Level 1 test examines physical characteristics of the card reader, such as voltages, timing, dimensions, contact location, etc.
